Last week we had Bu Devathas and several past students come from Heathmont College to address our Grade 6 students about the benefits of studying a language at secondary school. Our students enjoyed playing “Angklung” and watching the presentation about the older students’ recent trip to Indonesia. We saw a slide show of all the places they went, including the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. The highlight of their trip was the visit to their sister school in Yogyakarta where they had the opportunity to experience school life and make friends.
It gave our Grade 6 students the opportunity to ask general questions about secondary school- less than 2 terms of primary school left!
